You can reboil semi-hard cooked eggs even if they’re cold. I boiled (steamed) 6 eggs yesterday and when I did my magic shaking-them-in-a-covered-bowl-to-remove-shells of three of them, they were not nearly fully cooked.
I reboiled them and we did have deviled eggs for dinner!
