I was so happy with the results of my recent foray into Asian (I cannot call it one thing or another—Thai, Chinese, certainly not Indian fer chrissake) cuisine that later in the week I changed course mid-meal preparation from something vaguely Italian; chicken and mushrooms, to this lustrous Asian-y meal. Velveted chicken and mushrooms with peppers and scallions. It was 美味的.
