The secret weapon

I’m hoping the rabbits cannot tell that this is an osprey kite rather than the more dangerous (to them) peregrine falcon kite. Ospreys eat fish so the rabbit may not be so afraid of them. The rabbits may be, in fact, casually eating my (insert whatever plant I have in my garden) and thinking…huh, what is that stupid thing doing here?

I have the kite on a collapsible pole and I take it down every night. This morning when I raised it there was a flurry of activity as about 200 birds scattered trying to get away from it. I didn’t see any rabbits they may have been busy eating (what the fuck ever) and no longer interested in the antics of some lost and confused osprey.
