One by-product of the Refrigerator Cleanse was banana bread. I had about 89 frozen old bananas in the freezer. I just couldn’t leave them all in there any longer. So I made banana bread, a double batch. It’s remarkable how easy it is to do. Then, of course, I have a lot of it and it’s dangerous for me to have it in the house. I ate half of one in one sitting. Then I took the rest elsewhere. Today I dropped off a loaf at the cleaners when I picked up my shirts. Those ladies ADORE me.
