La bouffe italienne, part deux

The loveliness of garlic bread, all buttery, garlicky and parmesany. Sugu with meatballs, sausages and various meats. Plain cheese lasagna, salad (zzzzzz) and sticky toffee pudding. I don’t suppose the pudding is so much Italian but it was major delicious. 

This is my favorite meal of all time. Reminds me of childhood, warmth, special occasions and the happiness of family and friends.

We did not eat the cranberries, they were for the sake of prettiness, as was the bay laurel.
