Parkinson’s law: At task will expand to fill the time available for it’s completion.
Dillon’s law is that the mess will expand to fill the available counter space. I have roughly 3 times the counter space I had in my condo. I can make the mess fill the entire useable counter space if I’m doing something as simple as boiling eggs.
