Breakfast without pits

I’ve been having healthy breakfasts lately, nothing but fruit. Grapefruit, strawberries, blueberries (do not get the appeal of them at all), I like cherries a lot, and nectarines. I have a cherry pitter. It does double duty as an olive pitter and it’s one of the handiest tools I have in my kitchen.

Here’s a tip. Cherries squirt when you pit them. Don’t wear a dress shirt while pitting. I’m not sure why I bothered. You can just spit out the pits anyway. But it was pretty. I suppose if I were on a cooking show I’d put a sprig of mint in the bowl.
