Lo-carb, Lo-cal

I can’t really call this slop since it was a little too premeditated and it wasn’t just whatever I had laying around. I purposefully bought bulk chicken italian sausage. Chicken sticks together really well because there is a lot of albumen in it. (There is a lot in shrimp and turkey too). And so I threw it in chunks into the pot. Added green peppers, onions and mushrooms. It was simple and tomato sauce, so, slop-like in its way but really good.

The sausage could have used more fennel. But it was nice.

But no carbs. Nice salad too.
