I think technically slop cannot be made in a crock pot. But since I make the rules here I’m going to say it was slop even though I used my little crock pot and I’m not even sure what prompted me to do that. In my trusty non-stick frying pan (and with my goddam vent fan on since my smoke alarm goes off when I think about turning the stove on) I browned cut-up chicken thighs, onions and red peppers and then I added tomato paste and caramelized the whole mess. I threw that in the crock pot with about a half cup of stock and a few TBs of chili powder. Of course.
I am always surprised at how much liquid things give up. It was luscious.
