Pickled peppers

My various pickled things, excluding the tomatillo chutney, are pretty run of the mill. Yeah, pickles. I like what I made, they’re okay but they’re not transcendent. And I figure if I’m going to go to all the bother I should get transcendence. These are Hungarian yellow wax peppers. These are transcendent. I have only the one jar. I bought 10 of them from some farmer’s market guy for a buck and crammed ’em into one jar with 2 jalapeños for heat.

I am allowing myself only one a day.
