I couldn’t get all of this chicken in my little crock pot so I used a bowl instead of the lid provided by the manufacturer. It worked well except for getting the bowl off. Somehow the idea that the thing might take on the temperature of its contents slipped my mind. It looked innocent enough. It was not. Kitchen lesson learned. Don’t buy too much chicken.
