Harvest news: Limes

When last we visited my house-made lime pickle I was on the floor of my house sobbing and begging for divine intercession (even a lightening bolt would have been welcome) after having tasted the initial batch. I was assured by certain members of the Indian food cognoscenti that the heat would “calm down.” And, miraculously, it did. This stuff is utterly delicious and not all that hot, let’s say, only lightening bolt hot.
