I need to keep this in mind for future vacational trips. Most everything is closed, so that’s a problem. I am unclear on whether or not the holiday has anything to do with me but it might. France and I go back a ways. If that is the case, and it seems it might be because they unfurled this big flag in my honor. I mean, I appreciate the sentiment, who wouldn’t, but I wish they’d be a little more considerate in what they are closing down, even if it is in tribute to me. No one really asked my opinion about it and I wanted to do some souvenir shopping and worse, the restaurant I wanted to eat at is closed! The French. So self absorbed.
