I’m really excited to have my own bee hive on my balcony. Well, I didn’t exactly choose to have it, it just appeared, but I am thrilled and delighted to become an apiarist. I’m already looking forward to thinking up a creative name and designing my own honey labels to put on jars of it to give as gifts. I’ve ordered a bee keepers suit and all the cool accoutrements of beekeeping (those cute smoker dealios and a mug with a bee on it) so I can spend hours watching the little creatures buzz lazily from flower to flower collecting pollen and frolicking happily on my balcony.
I’m not sure how soon it will be before I can collect the first honey but judging from the enormous size of these things (They are HUGE, Donald Trump would be impressed!) it shouldn’t be too long.
