Ma Fishers! I should have known better. The Month of Pain looms. I am well aware of it. Hunger is a funny/evil thing. We (the Royal Mounted Food Control Police) was hungry and he had never been to Ma Fishers! I mean, it’s a Milwaukee institution!! Can you even say you’ve lived here if you’ve never been there? I love that place.
He ordered the gyros sandwich that came with a BOWL of pea soup (with ham and deep fried croutons) and french fries. I had the Country Breakfast. The bill was $26. Then we went home and slept. I will worry about the calories later.
