It must be my clean living

My first tomato, a picture of perfection was also perfectly delicious. This blog, it turns out, has a record of past “first tomatoes” and this year my first was a week earlier than last year’s and 2 weeks earlier than the year before which is strange because of the cold wet spring we had. I also kept track of which types of tomatoes I planted for the first time in my life, (I am an idiot) and I happen to know that this one is a Big Boy. And I can see already that the Roma tomatoes are given over to blossom end rot and the heirloom tomatoes are grotesquely disfigured.

Well at least the first one did not disappoint.
