Whilst flouncing through the Art Institute of Chicago killing time waiting for my passport and therefore spending way more time than I usually would looking at crap I would never normally look at, I happened upon this painting by someone or other famous, John Hey actually, of the Annunciation…the angel of the Lord declared unto Mary and she conceived by the Holy Ghost. As it happens, yesterday while standing there in front of this painting, was the 25th of March, The Annunciation.
