It just sounds so delicious. And it was. Chicken and mushrooms in cream gravy topped with cream biscuits. A total of 3 cups of cream went into this and like 12 tsp of butter. Worth it.
It would have been easy except that I have to make everything into the most byzantine mess. My kitchen was a hellish nightmare. Instant Pots, Silpat, funnels, sieves, all manner of measuring devices. So many pots, pans, plates, spoons, knives, cups and bowls that it required 2 loads in the dishwasher. (Although the knives don’t go into the dishwasher. Don’t want to give the mounted police a heart attack.)
