Living and learning…TAKE THE DAMN CAKE OUT OF THE PAN WHEN IT’S STILL WARM.
I made 2 orange cakes this year. One, which I left in the pan overnight, did not come out completely which is a mess and a pain but since I was frosting it didn’t really make much difference. The other I removed when it was still warm and Voila! perfect. I frosted that one too, so really, who cared? That frosting is too good not to utilize it. Florence may not have gone to the trouble of frosting her cakes but if there’s one thing I like, it’s trouble.
